Natural Materials
All of our handmade jewelry is made from natural, eco-friendly materials from the Amazon Jungle of South America. These materials include seeds such as tagua, acai, pambil, visola, anamore, and coconut. The seeds are collected, polished, and dyed to create the colorful jewelry you see!
PAMBIL: The Pambil Palm is an important resource to the Kichwa people of Ecuador and Peru because it has a strong wood that is used to build houses, leaves that are woven together to make roofs, and a fruit seed to eat.

VÍSOLA: Similar to pambil, the strong wood from this tree is used for houses and its fruit is eaten, but vísola produces an oval-shaped seed.
|
COCONUT: The shell of the coconut fruit that grow on the coast of South America is used in various shapes and sizes.
|
ANAMORE: Also called Huayruro, this seed is native to Ecuador and Peru, found in pods of a tall tree in the rainforest. The red and black seeds are said to bring fortune and luck, as well as balance in one’s life due to the mixture of the two colors.
